I can't pretend my time there was perfect but it was definitely close to it. I feel like i found a home and a family in Salvador. Its a safe heaven for lgbtq+ people! The space is also very clean and with many assets, the work schedule is great and relatively flexible.

My experience in the hostel was unfortunately cut short because I had some personal responsibilities to take care of and therefore I did not spend a lot of time there. The time I did spend there was really nice, the work fairly easy and the whole team very welcoming. I wish I could have spend more time with them because the whole team is so nice and everyone tried to make me feel welcome and I would have loved to get to know them better and learn some more Portugese. We had a really nice time here. The work schedule was really flexible for us as we were painting walls. Every volunteer was really nice and the place was clean and nice too, inspiring. We met really interesting people from all around the world. The hostel is right next to the beach too, so the location and also the time we spent there was really nice. Thank you! :)

Cada vez que retorno, sinto como se minha alma se expandisse e transcendesse um pouco mais. Há algo nesse lugar, nas trocas, nas conversas, nos momentos compartilhados que desperta uma beleza profunda no simples ato de SER. A anfitriã, Inayá, como sempre, é uma querida. Uma pessoa luminosa, acolhedora, que faz com que tudo ao redor pareça ainda mais especial. Estar sob o cuidado e a presença dela é uma experiência que deixa o coração leve. O voluntariado foi simplesmente incrível. Saio renovado, inspirado e com ainda mais vontade de voltar, sempre que a vida permitir.

A minha experiência na CasaAmarelo foi muito boa☺️. Eu fiz o turno de limpeza, os horários foram respeitados e as tarefas são simples. A localização é muito bonita, bem perto do mar e dá para curtir a praia. Gal é um anfitrião divertido e passei bons momentos com as outras voluntárias. Obrigada e até!

Voluntariar no casamarelohostel foi bom demais!!! A Inaia é um ser de luz, na qual transmite uma energia incrível. O Gal é um amor de pessoa e estar sempre disposto a ouvir e ajudar. Os horários foram respeitados, a loc é incrível e sem sombra de dúvidas, é um lugar que eu voltaria mais vezes.

Estoy aqui hace 3 meses y siempre me he sentido es un lugar seguro y acogedor. Desde que llegué han habido una serie de cambios pero nada que afectara los horarios de trabajo normal, tal vez si un poco más de cargas ya que quedabamos muy pocos voluntariando pero ya se solucionó con la llegada de más voluntarios. Trabajé en creación de contenido, en limpieza, recepción y cocina. Agradecida siempre con la casita🫀
