The Experience

We are especially looking for outgoing people, that love to meet new people and socialize. Engaging with our guests and making them feel involved and like they are at home is our goal. We are a social and diverse hostel located in Panajachel, on the shores of the beautiful Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. The main aspects of the role will be working behind our bar and socializing and engaging with our guests.

I had the absolute best time at the hostel! Since day 1 everyone was so welcoming and extremely nice. We felt like part of the family super early on. Its an amazing place to meet people and socialize! The owners and managers truly make this place what it is and i couldn't be happier with my experience. Im forever grateful for the hostel and will always think of this place as a home away from home!

I absolutely loved every moment at the hostel! From the second I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The team here is truly amazing — they're not just staff, they became like family to me. They go out of their way to make sure everyone is comfortable, happy, and having the best time.

The hostel became my second home! this month I spent with them was absolutely amazing. The whole team made me feel like part of the family, and I made friends for life. They were always including the volunteers, always organizing activities, trips, and lots of fun. Now I understand how people end up staying so long in a place far from home. I'm going to miss it a lot and I hope to come back soon to this wonderful place 🫶 What a life!!!!!

We loved our time at the hostel! The owners and managers are extremely welcoming and helpful! The living arrangement is really good ( being separated to the hostel). The hours are respected and flexible if your wanting to stay somewhere else for a night or two. If you love socialising, having a drink and enjoying the beautiful lake then I can't recommend volunteering here enough!!

Had an incredible time at the hostel. All the staff, volunteers and owners are really nice and cool people. The work was always fun and the atmosphere in the hostel is great! The lake and its surroundings is definitely worth a stay. Will come back to see all these legends again 🤙
