This was my first worldpackers experience and I couldn't be more grateful. I've spent an amazing week on the farm, with the lovely Anggie, who made sure I was feeling comfortable und supported every day. She was truly kind, understanding and never made the work feel like actual work - it was more like a fun activity, a meaningful time spent in the project. I also managed to learn so much about permaculture, Indonesian culture and way of living and I was really feeling like a local. And the homestay? That was such a cozy, peaceful and welcoming place. The family really made me feel at home.

Me and Anggie had so much fun at the farm both farming and chilling. We also went out hiking and did artwork at the farm, which is really fun. We had meals together and shared thoughts on farming and life.

Being at Bhumishanti Farm & Nursey was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Anggi was very kind and welcoming, and I left with the feeling that, in only one week, I have made a friend. I had the chance to know more about the Indonesian culture, and also about farming. At. Bhumishanti, we have time to farm and to take care of animals, but we also have time to socialize and to learn more about different cultures. I felt very well there and I wish I had had more time to spent there.

I stayed for one week, and it was a really lovely experience. On my day off, I had the chance to explore the village and surrounding region by going trekking and visiting a beautiful waterfall. The daily work was very relaxed and enjoyable, especially working alongside Anggi. We spent our time planting lettuce, journaling, and painting, and you're free to take a break whenever you need. The farm is about a 45-minute walk from the Rhumaku Homestay. There's a bit of elevation gain, it's sporty but doable :)
