My experience with the project has been so special and I felt so welcomed by all members of the team. The kids were kind and patient and full of so much love. I was surprised at how well received I was despite only having a basic level of Spanish. The house is a 20 minute walk to the foundation and is in a good location with supermarkets, parks and gyms close by. It's spacious and well equipped. The other volunteers were also easy to get along with. I'm so happy I spent my time here, I would recommend volunteering at the foundation to anyone who's interested.

My time at the project was incredible! I was supposed to stay for two weeks and I extended it to another because of how amazing it was. The foundation is so inspiring and constantly doing activities to better Colombia. The kids were so sweet and welcoming, I will miss every one! I also got to participate in experiences outside of the “school” which were also eye opening such as time with the indigenous community. The living space was super comfortable and private, the area was safe to walk around freely, and all the necessary accommodations were included. I highly recommend this!
