I can't recommend the project enough. Volunteering with this program was one of the most meaningful experiences i've had, I'm disappointed my plans didn't allow me to stay longer than 2 weeks (stay longer!!) The team is incredibly passionate and truly cares about the project, kids, community and the volunteers. Everything they do comes from a place of heart and they make you feel very valued and welcome. The volunteer house was in a great location and a 20 min walk from the foundation. I was hesitant at first because I was new to Medellin and this area but everything was fine for me.

My experience with the project has been so special and I felt so welcomed by all members of the team. The kids were kind and patient and full of so much love. I was surprised at how well received I was despite only having a basic level of Spanish. The house is a 20 minute walk to the foundation and is in a good location with supermarkets, parks and gyms close by. It's spacious and well equipped. The other volunteers were also easy to get along with. I'm so happy I spent my time here, I would recommend volunteering at the foundation to anyone who's interested.

My time at the project was incredible! I was supposed to stay for two weeks and I extended it to another because of how amazing it was. The foundation is so inspiring and constantly doing activities to better Colombia. The kids were so sweet and welcoming, I will miss every one! I also got to participate in experiences outside of the “school” which were also eye opening such as time with the indigenous community. The living space was super comfortable and private, the area was safe to walk around freely, and all the necessary accommodations were included. I highly recommend this!

I have never felt so much pure love in one place as I did with Fundación the project. I spent 3 wonderful weeks at the project foundation. Thank you to the whole team and to all the children who welcomed me as if I were at home. It's a life experience, and I recommend anyone who can do it to come here to Medellin. Thank you for everything, and thank you for letting me be a child's godmother. I hope to come back soon!

I really loved my time at the foundation. The people working there are treating each other like family and you become part of that family for the time you are there. Also the kids love having you around to interact and play with. I also participated in several other activities outside the foundation walls in the poor neighbourhoods of Medellin. Everything is about love, education and trust to the children and trying to give them a better environment. ❤️ I'm sad i'm leaving after 2 weeks, but also happy i could be part of this ongoing project and helping children! Hasta luego!

We had the most incredible time volunteering at this youth foundation. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by some of the nicest people we've ever met. The accommodation is fantastic, and the surrounding area was such a nice local area, adding so much to the overall experience. The kids were simply amazing—so much fun to be around, full of energy and joy. The activities we got to participate in were unforgettable. Visiting the waterpark with the kids was a blast, helping feed the homeless was a humbling and heartwarming experience, and our trip to Niquatao. Highly recommend!
