I helped with serving breakfast, and the tasks were easy and enjoyable. I really liked spending time with Linei, she is a wonderful person and made the experience even better. After finishing the shift, I had the whole day free, and the hostel offers daily activities, which is great. The only downside was that laundry was listed as free on Worldpackers, but I was asked to pay for it (with a small discount). Overall, it was a good experience

It was quite a lovely experience, I had so much fun, made plenty of friends, this was my 1st volunteering experience and I totally recommend it for starting, I was able to promote everyday events and learn about the logistics that these require of, I was able to draw with chalks everyday activities plus you get to experience a really intense night life as you go to or participate in many of these events for free, like Pub Crawl night or making a cocktail which it was really fun and educative as well as for dance classes, plus everyone in the staff took care of me in the whole learning process

One of my bests experiences as a volunteer, very welcoming and kind team, specially Liney, the chef who i was assisting in the kitchen. Very good located in the middle of Cartagena, i would highlight the beauty and the aliveness of the hostel, hosting international people and integrating everyone. Workload very light. I would love to come back if i pass by Cartagena again.

This has been my first volunteering experience and I can say I have begun with my right foot. The Hostel offers a wide variety of interesting activities which the volunteers are encouraged to participate. The tasks are easily handled and there is a competent and helpfull staff to give us a hand whenever we need. My thanks to them and to Jhoan for an amazing experience at the heart of the beautiful Cartagena!!
