The Experience
Dear potential volunteer, I'm glad you land in our profile. We are a beautiful surfhouse in Baleal, a stunning surf village in Portugal. We are looking for someone who loves to stay in contact with other people and with nature. The help we ask consists basically in keeping our house clean and tidy to create a cozy and nice environment, preparing rooms and welcome our amazing guests for them to have a comfortable and beautiful stay with us.

My first volunteering experience turned out to be one of the most special times of my life. I can only recommend this place ❤️ Elena is absolutely amazing, incredibly welcoming, kind, and always ready to help. She explained all the tasks clearly and made sure everything felt comfortable. The accommodation is really nice, and the house is beautifully located right on top of the cliffs. You can borrow the surfing equipment when it's not being used by the guests, and there are also some bikes available. I even joined some surfclasses with the guests for free.

This place is amazing! The work is easy and not too hard and Elena is really welcoming. She was pretty flexible and understanding. Also I had plenty of time to surf. You need a little but of luck for the surf lessons, because not too many people book them, but the instructor is amazing and really helpful. Baleal is the best city you could ever travel to and it's really easy to make friends, since it's crowded with volunteers. There are a lot of good party's ti attend too. I would recommend everyone to go there!

I had a great experience at the guest house. Elena, the boss, is extremly sweet and guides you well through your tasks. She is great at communicating and checking in on you. I would definetely recommend the guest house, especially for more experienced surfers since all the gear is free. Baleal is also a nice city and everyone is sweet and Open and welcome! You will definetely Connect with locals and other travelers. Will miss this place ! 🌞🌞
