The experience

Dear potential volunteer, I'm glad you land in our profile.
We are a beautiful surfhouse in Baleal, a stunning surf village in Portugal.
We are looking for someone who loves to stay in contact with other people and with nature.
The help we ask consists basically in keeping our house clean and tidy to create a cozy and nice environment, preparing rooms and welcome our amazing guests for them to have a comfortable and beautiful stay with us.

What you offer

24 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

1 day off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Surf lessons: Take free surf classes at the local beaches.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Intermediate English

Over 22 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Activities & Shift

We have 2 shifts, morning and afternoon.
In both of the shifts we keep the house clean and tidy and we are available for the guests' needs (ex. arranging surf classes, rent boards and wetsuits).
Usually in the morning shift we also do the check outs and make the rooms ready for the new guests.
In the afternoon we do the check-ins welcoming the new guests.
