The Experience

A family run youth project on the island of Grenada. We help provide the youth of Grenada with the foundations for their future. We run many activities all year round and would love some extra help to keep these possible. We offer an after school program during school time and holiday camps when school is out. At Christmas we hold a “santas grotto” which families love to attend.

I had an amazing time volunteering at Elvira's the project in Grenada. I LOVED working with the children, and i miss them everyday. Getting to know them was definitely the highlight of my entire trip. The entire team at Elvira's the project was so amazing and welcoming, special thanks to Kiera and Rae for being my side the entire trip. The entire team treated me like family. Grenada was my first ever trip internationally alone, and it was definitely the perfect place for me to be. All the people are incredibly kind and the culture is beautiful. I love it there and cannot wait to visit!!

Had a great time with Elvira's the project!! Felt welcomed and part of the family from the beginning. They went out of their way to accommodate my goals, needs, and adjusted the scheduling to accommodate all of the different cultural activities i wanted to attend!! Highly recommend this program!! Elvira's the project is an incredible project. The hosts Linda and Rachael are helpful, fun, considerate and down to earth. Each day spent at Elvira's the project was different and provided a solid insight into life in Grenada. I loved my time here and I am excited to come back again in the future. There are lots of ways to get involved outside of camp times. The facilities are excellent and I had plenty of time to explore the island. I arrived at Elvira's the project without knowing anyone and I left with friends for life! Thanks!
