It was a great experience in which we met people from the city as well as other volunteers. The cafeteria staff is lovely and it is wonderful to share moments with them. We had the opportunity to meet Anthea and Chodor, in addition to the affection with which Lorraine always treated us.

I leave this experience happy because I acquired new skills, such as improving my English and perfecting my latte art at the café. I am very grateful to Anthea, Chodor, and Lorraine for ensuring we had the best possible experience, and to my fellow volunteers Juliette, Esther, and Rizana. It's always great to volunteer at a the project center; I will definitely return. I also leave pleased that we were able to give the cafe an extra star, thanks to all the work done day by day to make everything perfect. Best regards Nano

Such a good experience to remember!Whether It's your first time to volunteer or not, I'd say this's the place where you feel safe and in peace as the management keen to make sure that we feel good ,work is physically demanding yet with the team work It feels easier,I've enjoyed my time here at the same time I could see development in myself regarding both physical and spiritual perspectives, Thanks to everyone who've contributed to this Cafe and center including Anthea, Chado and my fellow volunteers,Special Thanks to Lorraine who made sure to make me feel like home 🫶🏻Hopefully,see you again🫶🏻

Our experience was great! I met amazing people, with a special mention to Anthea, who has a wonderful heart and makes the days more fun and light. Lorraine was also very attentive and helped us as much as possible, even giving us a private room. I practiced a lot of English and there was plenty of food available. It was an incredible opportunity!

The time I spent here was incredible! Lorraine, Anthea, Chodor and Bea are kind and super friendly people. I would like to initially thank Lorraine for the kindness she gave us and how many people she helped us with and it was really cool to be able to help her! Thanks for everything Lorraine! World peace cafe is a nice place to be, it's right in the center of Leicester. Lorraine, the manager the project, it's always caring about volunteers' comfort. Everything is at described on the profile. Working hours are fair (you'll meet Anthea one of the sweetest and fun people I've met), the bedroom comfortable, there's always plenty of food for you to prepare. I had a great time here ☺️

The project Center was an amazing and deep experience, I did this volunteer with my friend Nalu, and both loved the days that we spent there. The place is quiet and comfortable, we shared our bedroom with other volunteers girls, and we enjoyed the time together to do new friendships. Our team was amazing 🤍 I worked in the kitchen preparing the food to serving at the World Peace Cafe, with this job I could learned new skills and help the center, I truly enjoyed working in this area. The center manager Lorraine and the kitchen manager Anthea are wonderful people. I am thankful for everything

So… When we got in to the center an Monge open the for for us, Chodor, the cutest and most intelligent person, who introduced us everything. At the end of the day we meet Lorraine, the manager of the center, who treated us like their own daughter. The next day we started on the cafe, a place really peaceful and u begins to understand the reason for the name, and we meet Anthea our manager at the cafe, who became a great friend and one of the smartest people I know, will teach us everything u need, all the volunteers are amazing and lovely, I'm sure that u will love all the experience.
