The Experience

We are the oldest hostel in Napoli. We were founded in 1999, and in 2013 some formers volunteers bought the hostel from the original owner. We now have three floors and 50 beds. We are looking for people to help at reception and light cleaning (no bathrooms). We have a few small private rooms with bunks for the staff with a/c. We ask for 4 days a week ( no overnight shifts). There is also a staff kitchen and we provide breakfast and lunch.

I had the best time in the hostel. It was very cozy and the owners were wonderful people with great characters, I had a good time with them. They also care for you to have food even though they pay you weekly for your own food. The payment was also always on time! The tasks for the shift are very easy to do like making the beds cleaning the floors and kitchen and check ins/outs…it was fun and I'm so great I had the experience. Thank you Rachel, Stud, Gerry and Vessi for the time!!!! I will come back one day:)

I'm happy I chose the hostel as my first volunteering experience. I had a chance to meet many interesting people and plenty of time to explore the city. Working hours and tasks were exactly as previously agreed on. The day is split into two shifts and the schedules are made so it fits everyone. The owners are friendly and always there when you need help. Overall it was an unforgettable experience.

The season at the hostel was incredibly important. The owners of the hostel are extremely friendly, always making sure everyone feels welcome. They even cover meals at restaurants sometimes, which is a huge plus, and they are always available to help with any kind of issue. The workload is exceptionally light, giving plenty of free time to explore and enjoy. On top of that, they offer the opportunity to travel if you coordinate the dates properly, making it an amazing experience overall. I highly recommend it - absolutely 10/10 ! I leave my warmest hug for Stud and Rachel !!!

I had an unforgettable volunteer experience at the hostel! The guests were truly unique and I managed to form special connections with some of them! The hosts respected all the working hours mentioned on the application and were professional. Besides that, they were incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They struck the perfect balance between stating the rules, and giving me the independence to enjoy the experience! Overall, the hostel was a home away from home!
