Klemen was very generous and respectful. I had the chance to meet amazing travelers and join incredible tours for free. The tasks are simple to do but you have to know how to clean (or you should ask). Bled is absolutely beautiful – I recommend heading straight into nature after ir before your shift and spending the whole day swimming in the lake :)

Came back for the second time to volunteer in this hostel. I love the vibe. Klemen always make sure, everyone is having a good time, and made sure has a good expirence around the town.

If you enjoy working for someone unstable and unpleasant, go for it! The work isn't difficult in itself, but expect to be criticized constantly without ever being given clear instructions beforehand. Once you start following the rules you're given, they'll change. His expectations shift constantly depending on his mood, his cannabis intake for the day, how many beers he's had, the weather. You're expected to behave "professionally" meanwhile, he acts like a teenager, drinking withat all hours and never welcoming new guests. On top of that, he regularly scams older guests as you can see on maps

The hostel itself is really nice, and the work was easy and fair. It could've been a great place to stay and help out. Unfortunately, the owner was often drinking and smoking, which made things feel a bit unpredictable. There were also a lot of random rules that seemed to change all the time, which created some confusion and tension. 2 other volunteers were kicked out without much explanation, and it made the rest of us feel pretty uneasy. In the end, I decided to leave early because I didn't want to risk being in a tough spot with nowhere to go.

I would not recommend this Worldpackers opportunity. Although the work itself is easy and the location is excellent, the management lets it down. The owner regularly smokes weed and drinks with friends whilst working making it uncomfortable to be around and throughout the stay rules kept being added/changed such as staff being unable to eat in front of guests and eating on a dirty table out the back instead. Due to these issues, I chose to leave the volunteering early as it was not what was advertised.
