What an amazing experience! Being in África for the first time and choosing Arusha as destination was definitely the right choice! Best safaris (definitely recommend Serengeti and Ngorongoro for at least 3 days!), beautiful waterfalls and nature surrounding. Marco and Sam are excellent people, who will help out with anything you need! Lucy, Lolita and little Livia are as gentle and kind as it can get! Just lovey people (and great food too!!). There are lots of work to be done, specially in construction for now (end of 2021 and beginning of 2022), so all volunteers are mostly welcome! Asante 🙏

It has been an amazing opportunity to help the kids to improve their education, while you share time and experiences with them. Both of you learn of each other a lot!! Also the family has been wonderful, so lovely, always taking care of you. Moreover, the other volunteers are so friendly and the organizers, Marko and Sam, are really good people who want to contribute to that good objective. To sum up, a nice experience which I recommend without any doubt for sure!

From the first day in Africa I felt immersed in the culture, Marko and the host were very good people to me and they helped me at any time. This is an experience that really makes you open your eyes, makes you live and feel the Tanzanian culture. I recommend it, do it and help them, but if you choose to do it you must do so with all your heart and motivation.

The project is simply incredible, thanks mainly to the organizer that without this, none of this is possible. Thanks to his constant support and work, he makes everything more comfortable and dynamic. I came looking for a new experience, to feel what it really was to help those most in need and give love to people, and I am very grateful to have lived this experience, I have no words. I recommend this the organization and project to move forward with great strides for the future.

This experience has been wonderful. The reality in Tanzania is very different from the European, but I never felt alone. Marko has been very kind and helpful since the beginning. He always takes care of the volunteers. I felt more than welcome. The host family has been my family for all 3weeks. Lolita, her mum and her daughter are simply lovely. Different and delicious food every day, the room with shower and toilette is clean and comfortable. Asante Sana!!!

For me, the experience of working with the kids from Arusha that came at the library was not an easy one, bc they came so many most of the days and there were only two of us to try to respond their needs, whoch were different at every kid, because they were different ages and some maybe wanted to learn some math, other English and i could only work well with only one at a time. So it could get quite exhausting. But still, it was so fulfilling when after explaining a thing 10 times they finally got it or when they were jumping with joy when i was marking all their answers as correct they were b

I had an amazing five weeks volunteering here! The work can be tiring but it is amazing and so worth it. There's is heaps to do on the weekends and in your spare time which Marko will happily help you to organise if you need to. The families welcome you like one of your own and catered perfectly for my vegan dietary requirement. I would highly recommend coming and feel free to ask me any questions :)

Indescribable the energy that these children are able to transmit to us ... they are happy with very little and this makes us rethink many things about our lives. I came with the objective of teaching, but without a doubt I learned the most during this 1 month that I was here. Asante sana Tanzania!!
