Firstly, the host family, other volunteers, Ejo's school, and safari were all great. The bad review is for Marko's management. After about a week, it became clear Marko isn't connected to the school, and he overcharges you for everything (stay with the host family, rides to the airport, local transport, and safari/ Kilimanjaro trips). And none of the volunteer money goes to the school, which I confirmed with the school. Unfortunately, Marko simply uses volunteers as a side business for himself. To volunteer at Ejo's Pre&Primary school, reach out to their FB page; no need to use Marko.

I had a great experience overall. Congepta and her family are absolutely amazing and I felt like home with them. I had the chance to take part in different projects and meet very nice people, and I really liked being with the children. Their energy is amazing 😍 There are little things that need to improve regarding organisation, especially at the library, but the rest was very enjoyable. I really recommend to everyone. I will have a hard time when I leave because I lived many beautiful experiences. Asanteni sana to everyone! Nakupenda! ❤️

Going to Arusha was one of the most incredible experiences of my life! Marko is really nice and helpful! My host family was the best, I was provided with good food and safe facilities to stay in. Being around the children was really good and that area really needs more volunteers to help! I wish I'd stayed longer, two weeks was not enough.

If you want to meet people and have fun this is your place. Thankyou Marko, Samson, Conjepta and lolita for making me feel like home. I had the opportunity of doing a lot of things not only in one place and that was cool, the library was the best place to teach and the orphanage the best place to give and receive love. Asante sana Rafiki. Now I have a familia in Arusha!

My experience as a volunteer with the the organization was amazing. I have no words. My host family (conjepta and her sisters and mother) was amazing and i felt at home form the beginning. They were really friendly and caring and the best cookers ever. The school (sammena school) was amazing. I love every moment at the school with the kids and the teacher. I really recommend it

I volunteered for two weeks and it was an impressive experience. I really appreciated the possibility I had to live Africa immersing in its culture: going to school with children, meeting local people, staying in a magic family eating their delicious food and feeling their love and affection. The school was a bit too far, one hour every day for each travel :/ but the people working there are all amazing and lovable. And my host family was simply perfect: I had my room so I had my privacy, but everyone was caring a lot about us. I mention only some problems with the the organization of th Safari...

Marko and Sam are very flexible and relaxed hosts. They can organize anything that you ask of them in Arusha. The accommodations were excellent, safe, and the food was also delicious each and everyday. The 4 weeks with them went by very quickly. Mornings at school, evenings in the library. I taught at two schools because there was an incident (the fault of the first school not having proper paperwork), so I experienced several different environments. I highly recommend teaching at Sameena Primary School. A great introduction to volunteering and wonderful experience in Tanzania. Asante Sana
