The Experience

Usually we walk with up to 6 rescue dogs first thing in the morning followed by a wide variety of tasks around the place depending on what needs doing and the time of year. Spring involves garden tasks, in autumn we make wine and preserve fruits and vegetables. We make craft beer several time through the year. There are cleaning and other jobs like recycling and renovation projects connected with the campsite and guest house.

This was my first work exchange experience and it was amazing!! Sara is a very very kind and thoughtful host, and Kamila is also super nice and cool, making my stay full of laughs and happiness. The tasks are reasonable and easy to handle and the place is quite lovely and peaceful. And my favorite is the cutest dogs and cats! They are so friendly and adorable. I would highly recommend people to come here:)

My stay there was really good. I met the dogs and enjoyed taking them out for walks. There are also some housekeeping tasks, they're not too demanding though, and it can be done fairly quickly. On top of that, Sara cooks incredibly delicious food! There's one day when you're invited to prepare a dish from your own country's cuisine. There's also a bicycle available to use, though I couldn't make much use of it because it was crazy hot during my stay.

We had a great week at Camping the camping. Sarah was a lovely host, very easy to get along with and so accommodating. We had some great conversations and a lot of laughs. The campsite is in a quiet rural location and it was great to walk their 4 rescue dogs every morning in the countryside, they are all such characters The jobs that we had to do weren't too demanding and the hours were as expected. The food that Sarah provided for us was delicious. On our days off Sarah kindly lent us her car so we could explore the area. If you are looking for a peaceful location we highly recommend.
