The Experience

Vegetarian hostel is looking for a passionate and creative Vegetarian/Vegan cook to prepare meal for the hostel staff five days a week. We have a well equipped kitchen for you to use in order to make meals that show of your love of food. In exchange, a volunteer receives free breakfast, dinner and accommodation in a shared dorm in our hostel. The hostel is in the heart of Tirana and provides a wonderful base for exploring Albania.

Second time here and I feel like I still need more :) the hostel is a beautiful hostel full of history (albania's first hostel), full of art and full of love. If you come in the summer you'll find a hostel full of life, with a bar, good music and a huge team of people from all over the world. If you come in winter you'll find a cozy bubble, with bonfire nights, pool table side quests and plenty of crazy card games. The hours are respected, the food is delicious, and you can always find something fun to do. Lov you guys, see you next year again <3

I really enjoyed my stay here! I worked mostly on serving people breakfast which was easy and enjoyable, and I could have all the afternoon off to explore the city thanks to the amazing location of the place. But what I'll miss the most is all the volunteers - fun, vibrant people with such character and stories! Loved spending time with them, as well as with the travelers from all around the world. Thanks for everything <3

Amazing time in Tirana Backpackers! I which I could stay longer. I am glad I got along with other volunteers, good laughs, good music and good food shared here. The work scheduled is respected, every week they will let you know your time shifts and days off I would love to come back. 🐕‍🦺💕
