My stay at Rebetiko was my first Worldpackers experience. It's a family-run hotel in the heart of Ayvalık, and it was truly unforgettable. I'm grateful for the chance to live in such a warm, charming town and meet the amazing Rebetiko family. They genuinely value and respect their volunteers—you can ask them anything without hesitation, and the work hours are always respected. The memories I made with them, I will always cherish.

I had an amazing time inthe hotel! The town is beautiful and it was the perfect place to chill. All the tasks were pretty straightforward, just cleaning rooms, dishes and common areas as well as serving breakfast. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming! There is a bit of a language barrier but it wasn't a problem and I had fun trying to learn some Turkish. I will miss the delicious food and cuddles from Nefhes & Maya!! Thank you Sima, Bala and Mehmet ❤️❤️

We had great two months with Paige here! She was so helpful and friendly. I agree about the language barrier and we try our best to improve our staff's language :) Unfortunately I wasn't there while she was leaving but I hope she had a great time as much as us <3

I had an incredible time inthe hotel, and I'm grateful to have found a family like Sima's for my first volunteer experience. The language barrier is significant and must be taken into account, but despite this, everyone was very very kind. Bala and Zeineb are incredible cooks, always concerned to see that everything is going well. The work isn't complicated and the hours are always respected. the hotelis a very pleasant and friendly town, with lots to see. I highly recommend this voluntary service. Thank you to everyone for your warm welcome, and I look forward to seeing you again!

I had a lovely stay inthe hotel. The city and surrounding towns are very chill and beautiful + easy to get around by bus! I cleaned the dishes/kitchen with shifts from 4-6 hours a day depending on how many guests were there and hours were always respected. You will most likely spend a lot of time by yourself. Even though the girls who work there don't understand English, they were all super nice and welcoming. Bala is an amazing cook and food was always delicious! Bonus: The cats and dogs love cuddles! Thank you Sima, Bala, Mehmet, Nefhes & Maya🥰
