The Experience

Major clearing and cleaning work on several hectares of forest and parc. Other minor landscaping work in the château grounds. Physical and outdoor work. Be aware: it can be cold until April. Free access to evening teachings and lunchtime meditations (in French). Meditation in English twice a week. Free laundry. You need to understand French because of safety instructions.

It was spectacular volunteering, I was able to practice French, which was my biggest goal. The people are super friendly and make you feel welcome. The food is very delicious and you can repeat after the bell rings. The jobs are simple and easy to understand, depending on where you are, you do or garden, or help in the kitchen by chopping things or cleaning, but everything is very simple. You can learn a lot about the Center and you can take a retreat, it is very interesting, I recommend reading the books they have on the book shelf. Merciii :D

10/10!! my experience in the Center was amazing. After coming from another volunteer not so great, the Center turn my expectations on the high! I was able to talk with a lot of different people all over the world and make friends. Also, the work was so fine that I miss the work time, painting with Stefan or helping in the kitchen with the other volunteers. The lodges that we slept were amazing and I would recommend this opportunity for everyone that want to get in touch with nature and create new friends :)

I'm so glad that I volunteered at the Center. It was a way better experience than I could have imagined. Very well organized, the dorms/lodges are very nice and the people are super welcoming. I loved working in the garden and learning about painting/installing insulation! I made amazing friendships and I am looking forward to my next visit!

I had such an amazing time in the Center. I recommend it SO MUCH to everyone. I was so well welcomed and felt home really quickly. People in there are the sweetest ever and the place is beautiful. I created a family in there, specially with the other volunteers. It was so hard to leave, but I can't wait to come back!!!! I love my the Center family ❤️
