The Experience

Great experience, and great meeting with Lola's family, also this is only for people that get along with themselves and can be alone with the nature, don't expect lot of people with you, just you and nature and probably another volunteer, but that's it. And is awesome to learn about polymer clay with Lola, also if you are totally affected by cigarette pollution, then don't go haha, Lola smokes a lot, anyway you can tell her and she will go to an open window to not disturb you

Lola and her family were wonderful hosts! I had a great time volunteering at the home, learning about its history and various other skills including painting barbecues, constructing roads, and a lot about the art of polymer clay (Lola's speciality). I did feel that the working hours weren't the same as mentioned in the advert, but nothing too strenuous either. the home felt like home to me and all credit goes to the fantastic people there; not to forget Cody and Lisa who were the sweetest furry friends, and Leo, my fellow volunteer, w/o whom my experience would be incomplete!

I really had a great time at the home because not only fif I get to learn more about art from the spanish culture but also how to speak better spanish. The host was a very nice lady and was very patient if you made mistakes and showed you how to do things correctly. The place was very calm place and not alot of traffic could be heard.
