I had sich a great time at the lodge! I was responsible for keeping the guesthouse clean, washing dishes and clothes and sometimes preparing some coffee. The tasks were pretty chill and I had also time to go on beautiful walks, to read a lot or to visit the other volunteers at the farm. the lodge and Michele were really nice and friendly hosts and provided everything we need. This place is perfect to relax a bit next to work and if you want you can also go tubing in the river. I reccomend !

I stayed 2 weeks at the guesthouse as a housekeeper and I really enjoyed my stay : My tasks were easy and I had the time to rest and plan the rest of my trip. The place is really beautiful and the lodge cooks really well. The communication can sometimes be difficult but don't take it personally, it's never on purpose. the lodge and Michele really have a great heart and help you in case you need anything !

The lodge was a great host, as well as the rest of her family who were very welcoming to us. The property was beautiful, it was really nice to help around where we could. There was quite a lot of free time which was nice to read and unwind.

Lots of free time to de-stress and read my book! About 3/4 hours of work per day maximum. Delicious and large portions of food for lunch and dinner! Note that there arnt many shops nearby so if you want any snacks then it may be worth bringing some with you. Although the lodge offered us fresh fruit from the farm daily!

My volunteer experience at the lodge went wonderfully, and I learned a lot. It's a very peaceful place, perfect for recharging. If you enjoy being connected to nature and are looking for tranquility, I highly recommend!

This experience was fantastic! Michele and the lodge were very kind and generous to me, I really like them! The work wasn't challenging because my job was housekeeping, but Michele was really good about making sure I wasn't bored during my stay. My goal in the future is to live as self-sustainably as I can so I got a glimpse of that and learned a lot from Michele. Anything I had a question about he answered, and he even taught me how to roast coffee :) Also, as a digital nomad, it was a great place to work. Michele and the lodge were very respectful about that. I really recommend this place!

My experience was during low season so there weren't many guests. Meaning my tasks were limited and I had a lot of free time to do with as I liked. I can imagine when it's busier there is more to do. Mike and the lodge are really lovely and welcoming people. I highly recommend doing this as a break from travelling if you've been out for a while

One of the best experiences. The work was straight forward and simple if you have common sense. A lot of time to relax, unwind and read! Michele is the best host you could ask for, he truely made the experience memorable, I really enjoyed the evenings chatting about travelling and local Lao life. You can learn a lot if you come with the right attitude. the lodge is so lovely and the best cook! Always plenty of food to go around, healthy, fresh and straight from the garden ! What more could you ask for ! I hope to come back again.

I had a great time at the lodge. It's such a peaceful place, just perfect to enjoy some quiet and immerse in nature. The work consists mainly of washing dishes and making the rooms. You have a lot of free time to chill in one of the hammocks or cuddle the cats and dogs:) I would love to come back on my next trip to Laos
