It was a great experience. This was my first time volunteering, and I'm glad I chose this place. I came during the low season in summer, so there were no other volunteers. Every morning I was given some simple tasks to do for a few hours. It was never too long or too difficult. They fed me three times a day with local food — I even got to try frogs! The meals were simple but tasty. Mobile isn't perfect but ok. The dorm is quite basic — I would have liked a bit more furniture. The toilet could use some improvements, but there's a hot shower available in the main house.

I gehadert an amazing time with a beautiful family in the mountains of Laos. It was so interesting to learn about the self sufficient life in Laos while being surrounded by nature. Will cherish this time forever!

Great Experience on the Farm! the lodge was incredibly friendly and caring – despite the language barrier, communication was easy. The tasks were physically demanding but also varied, also during the dry season when watering the plants was essential. We worked in the mornings, leaving the afternoons free to relax. The food was a real highlight – super delicious and always freshly cooked! The countryside and the farm itself are beautiful, providing the perfect place to unwind after work. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this experience!

Amazing place immersed in the nature, good local coffee, fresh fruit and vegetables grown on the property and a lot of cute animals. You can swim in the river during the dry season. It was a lot of fun.

The best volunteer experience! the lodge's guest house is a peaceful and cozy place. I really enjoyed my time during my stay! Michele and the lodge are always friendly, smiling and kind! the lodge is a very good cookers and with Michel you can just always have fun! Thank you Michele and the lodge for this wonderful experience! I will come back one day!!! ❤️

We had a lovely time at the lodge's garden. Every morning, you work in the garden, and afterwards you are free to do whatever you like. We left the place absolutely relaxed. the lodge cooks the best meals for you, and although the communication can sometimes be challenging - she tries her best to make you feel at home.

We had an amazing stay at the farm! It's far away from the city and you really get the village experience. The tasks were fun but also repetitive. Communication could be better and I think they should be better with giving information. My money got stolen from my bag inside the room, but it could have been prevented if they told us that we should always lock the doors with keys when we leave (which they did'nt say before we left).

The guesthouse is a beautiful place to relax and reset. The housekeeping jobs are spread throughout the entire day and were well explained. You have lots of time in between to chill and chat with the guests. Mikele was easy to contact for questions and very accommodating when I got ill. It took a bit of time to understand his communication style but him and the lodge are absolutely lovely people. Normally the housekeeper is by themselves at the guesthouse but you can visit the other volunteers (the $5USD position) at the farm for dinner and bonfires with the cute pets!
