I had such a good time in Rotterdam and met so many nice people in the hostel. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, respectful and you really get the feeling of being home. I will never forget that amazing experience and would always come back again !! Thank you for the opportunity :)

From the moment I arrived all the other staff and volunteers were kind and welcoming. The work was fair, well explained and work hours were respected. The hostel is kept very clean and run really well so there is no extra pressure or responsibility placed on volunteers. It's a perfect spot to explore the city of Rotterdam or surrounding cities, and Het Park is just a couple of minutes away if you need a moment away from the city. I'm very happy with my time here!

The hostel has an inviting atmosphere that truly embraces you like family. Its cool ambiance + a ton daily activities ensures that time flies by effortlessly. I'm especially grateful to Alina and Sam, whose management and care for volunteers have made my stay memorable. “See you soon” to the wonderful staff, the shared laughter, our cute lunches on fridays —oh, and of course, send all my loving to the coffee machine ❤️

Volunteering at Hostel the hostel has been one of the most amazing experiences i've ever had. The whole team and staff make you feel welcomed. Sam and Alina are really respectful and makes sure every volunteer feels comfortable, they're there to help for anything you need. The workload is pretty fair, you commit to the work and in exchange to that you have most of the day for yourself to enjoy, really flexible with rest days and really with any need you may have. You share a pretty neat dorm with the rest of the volunteers and the hostel in general is a really cozy place to be at. Thanks!!!

My experience was amazing, the work was manageable, the working hours were respected and the staff was always there to help. The hostel is located very close to the city centre so it's a great base to explore around. I met incredible people while working there, from travelers to the other volunteers! Cons : they asked 50€ deposit and they didn't tell me in advance, so be prepared (they gave it back last day) Not rating 5 stars because one of the managers didn't really respect us volunteers or our personal space. Anyways, I do recommend this experience 100%! Huge Thx to Sam and Alina 🫶🏻

I enjoyed my stay here and met really great people. Sam and all of the other staff were really nice and welcoming. Starting off the first week, the work is really exhausting. The hostel doesn't have an elevator and there are 3 floors, so we had to go up and down stairs the whole shift carrying heavy items. It was a shock, but eventually you get used to it. Upon arrival you have a to pay a 50€ deposit, which you will get back, he just didn't mention that beforehand. There is one task that we had to do that made me gag profusely and all of us hated. Other than that I actually enjoyed the work.

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel. The other volunteers were amazing and there are so many benefits. It's also a great area. The only downside is that the work is very different to other Worldpackers experiences. I cleaned poo ,pee, blood most days I was there, this is usually considered a paid job and not a volunteer job. However, the housekeeping part was a lot easier and I found it quite enjoyable. But the housekeeping manager is very difficult to work with and can get angry quite easily, so be aware. But overall, I made some really good friends and had a great time.
