About the experience in: Rotterdam, Netherlands
Belgium
I've stayed there 3 weeks in April with 4 other nice volunteers. You have some advantages like toasties, breakfast, free bike, free drinks and Sam is nice person but the work is really exhausting, I never get used to it, people have to take a nap after the work. Also it was hard to have a good night there with a lot of noices and light in the basement. I felt like it was not worth it, I couldn't enjoy Rotterdam. Also the first day we had to take off the hair of all the showers, inside the tube, but this should be for a paid job. In general you feel like working harder than the workers :)

I was sad to see such a low score, though I appreciate you sharing your perspective. It’s always best to raise things during your stay. We’re glad you enjoyed the volunteer group and the extras, though sorry the work felt overly tiring. We try to be clear about the physical side but will reflect on your points. It’s also a shame the sleeping setup didn’t suit you—we’re always making improvements. Wishing you all the best with future travels.
