The Experience
On the last floor of the building we have a nice apartment with a balcony that oversees Lisbon. This apartment comes equipped with full bathroom, a small kitchen, washing machine, TV, Internet, sofa, closet space and 3 beds. The position entails: - Doing check-ins - Supervising Breakfast - Attending guests' needs (Water, Coffee, etc) - Supervising the hostel - Other necessities that may be needed at the time No housekeeping work is expected.

I had a really great time volunteering at this hostel! The atmosphere is relaxed, and the work is easy and well-organised, which made each day enjoyable. The team is friendly and welcoming, and Joao, the host, was always checking in to make sure everyone was having a good time and felt comfortable. There's plenty of free time to explore the city — the location is perfect, and everything you need is close by. Overall, it was a really fun and rewarding experience, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of coming here! :)

This was my first time volunteering through world-backpackers and I had the best 5 weeks at the hostel. The working and living space was very comfortable and spacious and you can become good friends with the other volunteers. You have plenty of time to explore Portugal in your days off. Joao the host is amazing and is always there if you have any questions and will respond very quickly if you need anything. Would recommend:)

This was my very first Worldpackers experience and I loved it! The hostel is nice & calm and the work is super easy. The Team is very welcoming and i felt comfortable from the first day. If you have any questions, there is always someone to help you out! You'll have plenty of free time to explore Lisbon and with two days off per week, there's also the chance to go on small trips and discover more of Portugal. I'm really grateful for this experience and for all the wonderful people I've met. I had an amazing time at the hostel and would recommend it to anyone!

If you are looking at this hostel and wondering if you should apply let me be the guardian angel on your shoulder to say DO IT! This was my first Worldpackers experience and I absolutely loved it. Such a great location to explore the city, super understanding and communicative management, and very easy/simple to learn work. You'll work 5 hour shifts at reception to check guests in/answer questions and have two days off a week. No night shifts and you meet the best people. Cannot recommend this experience enough.

I had such an amazing experience at the hostel! The work was super easy and the managers were always there if we needed anything. We only worked 5 hours per day so we had so much time to explore the beautiful city of Lisbon. Highly recommend volunteering at this hostel!
