The experience
On the last floor of the building we have a nice apartment with a balcony that oversees Lisbon. This apartment comes equipped with full bathroom, a small kitchen, washing machine, TV, Internet, sofa, closet space and 3 beds.
The position entails:
- Doing check-ins
- Supervising Breakfast
- Attending guests' needs (Water, Coffee, etc)
- Supervising the hostel
- Other necessities that may be needed at the time
No housekeeping work is expected.
What you offer
26 hours of help per week
Administration:
Help with booking systems and payments.
Reception:
Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.
Bartending:
Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.
What you get
2 days off per week
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Fast Internet Access:
High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details
We are looking for persons with good spirit, that can get along with guests and other members of staff! Maintaining a culture of friendship and partnership, that give and have good ideas. We are eager to to meet you and receive you!
We will train you in everything you need to be successful on:
Doing check-ins
Running breakfast
Managing reservations
Handling booking sites
Activities & Shift
There is a rotating schedule between the 3 travelers, where every one will enjoy having a friday and saturday off. Shifts are mainly up to 5 hours each and are normally during the day. Our reception closes at 10 pm, so there will be no night shifts.
