Without a doubt, one of the best experiences of my life! Inka, Barbara, and Irene contributed to making the experience even better; they were the best managers, always helping when I needed it, always listening to what the volunteers wanted. The other volunteers and hostel workers (construction and cleaning) also contributed to making this a positive and fun experience . The work is super calm, divided into shifts. I felt at home. I liked it so much that I was sad to leave and I definitely want to go back. I highly recommend it. I already miss it. Kisses and hugs from Brazil! 🤍✨😍🤩

The hostel conditions were way worse than I expected and I left the place after 4 days. The volunteer room is too small for the amount of people staying there, there is no place to put your belongings and no lockers so anybody could enter the room and access your stuff. Only a few of the beds had curtains and none of them had a light or power sockets near by. The hostel had 3 kitchens but 2 were suddenly out of use. Bed sheets are dirty, stained and ripped and the cleaning we did was very superficial. A lot of things are broken or falling apart and I felt like nobody even cared...

This was my first hostel experience, and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Inka, Barbara, and Irene are genuinely heartful people who truly care about both the volunteers and the guests. From the very first day, I felt like part of the family. I connected with others so quickly, and I had plenty of time to explore the island. Thank you so much for everything 🫶🏼

The month i spent at the hostel was my first volunteer experience, and it was truly amazing and memorable! I had the chance to meet a lot of lovely people, including the staff and other volunteers as well. Would definietly recommend the place, the activities and time spent together allows for a cultural exchange, and in the free time you have a chance to explore the island. However, the volunteer room was indeed a bit small for everyone, the space to put our things to was not enough. Also ideal to practice spanish, even as a complete beginner;)

Inka is an outstanding host who brings incredible passion and dedication to the hostel. She truly puts her heart into making every volunteer feel welcomed and valued, creating a warm, family-like atmosphere. Throughout my stay, Inka was always supportive, approachable, and respectful, making sure everyone felt comfortable and motivated. Her genuine care and enthusiasm made a huge difference, turning the experience into something special. I am very grateful for her kindness and leadership and highly recommend working with her for a meaningful and enjoyable volunteer experience.
