This was my first hostel experience, and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Inka, Barbara, and Irene are genuinely heartful people who truly care about both the volunteers and the guests. From the very first day, I felt like part of the family. I connected with others so quickly, and I had plenty of time to explore the island. Thank you so much for everything 🫶🏼

The month i spent at the hostel was my first volunteer experience, and it was truly amazing and memorable! I had the chance to meet a lot of lovely people, including the staff and other volunteers as well. Would definietly recommend the place, the activities and time spent together allows for a cultural exchange, and in the free time you have a chance to explore the island. However, the volunteer room was indeed a bit small for everyone, the space to put our things to was not enough. Also ideal to practice spanish, even as a complete beginner;)

Inka is an outstanding host who brings incredible passion and dedication to the hostel. She truly puts her heart into making every volunteer feel welcomed and valued, creating a warm, family-like atmosphere. Throughout my stay, Inka was always supportive, approachable, and respectful, making sure everyone felt comfortable and motivated. Her genuine care and enthusiasm made a huge difference, turning the experience into something special. I am very grateful for her kindness and leadership and highly recommend working with her for a meaningful and enjoyable volunteer experience.

The hostel is new, so some of the activities have to improve, the volunteers are expected to organize something every week for the guests and the other volunteers, which is a good idea but sometimes there aren't many guests joining The tasks are the ones agreed before, the room was pretty little for many people, but we know they solved the problem when we left! The managers are open to talk to and welcoming, the guests usually don't speak much English but the other volunteers do and it was a great team, we also had time to visit the island and Tenerife, which are very beautiful and different

I loved my stay at the hostel! The hours are great and the work is mostly easy to do. The only con was that all volunteers (10-14) sleep in one room, so you don't have much personal space. The hostel is new, so some things (activities) are not that organized yet, but it's improving. I had a lot of free time to explore the island, the nature and the towns are so beautiful. I could also improve my Spanish a lot. I really had an amazing time, mostly because of the team. Everyone was so sweet, I met so many people that will stay in my heart and I hope to see some again :)

My stay at the Nest hostel was amazing! I met so many nice people, the manager Lidia was super welcoming aswell. The team was quite big, so there is always someone that has time to plan something together. The overall vibe of the hostel and the team is energetic, which I love. The only minus in my opinion is that the staff room was pretty full and small.

I had a great experience at the hostel and Gran Canaria! The manager was great and I made a lot of great friends! The hostel is new which was both positive and negative because. The place wasn't really established yet for example routines, activities and guests. But it also gave me as a volunteer nor freedom to contribute to developing the place. Thank you for the experience!
