Description
All accommodation fees are a direct, 100% donation to Centro Infantil de los Ángeles (CILA). Each donation will be used for the benefit of our children at the center: for food, teacher salaries, classroom supplies, maintenance, etc. We make every donation count and really appreciate the volunteers’ support in these efforts.

The Experience
You will help organize recreational activities that encourage children´s social and emotional development, such as crafts, team games or music and dance sessions. You will also contribute to the daily care of the children assiting the teachers in supervision during meals, recess and rest.

Cinthya and the rest of the staff are very welcoming. My entire stay was nothing less than pleasant. The best part of the experience was interacting with the kids. It truly hurt to leave. I want to come back one day and volunteer again! The house is really comfortable and I loved working with the organization. I can't recommend this place enough!

I have stayed and volunteered with the organization twice now, and I can't stress just how great this experience is! Both times with this project, I have had such a great time- I got to make friends with youngins like myself in San Miguel, which added so much on top of my time at the organization, and the kids are so fun to work with! Cynthia is a phenomenal host, always making sure you have what you need and ready to help you with anything. The teachers and staff at the school are amazing, too! If you have the chance, I would stay at least 3 weeks because you'll get to know the kids and SMA well. Muchas Gracias :)!

I had an amazing time here! Cynthia is extremely communicative and always checks in on you to make sure things are going well. The kitchen is ready to be cooked in by volunteers, and the property is safe, secure, and literally right next-door to the school. I have nothing but good things to say about this project. You are about a 20-minute walk from Centro, which removes you from the city noise, which I appreciated lots. Speaking Spanish definitely allows you to connect with the teachers and kids more, at least in my experience. Even though my trip just ended, I'm already planning to return!

It was a really nice place to visit. I learned a lot from the teachers and from the children. Everyone have so must love for everything. For their job, for the children, for the parents and the other colleagues. I will never forget this trip.

There are truly not enough words to describe the incredible experience I had volunteering at the organization. The warmth and dedication of the staff, along with the joy and energy of the children, made every moment unforgettable. I loved participating in various activities with the kids, each one filled with laughter, learning, and genuine connection. San Miguel de Allende added its own magic to the experience — a beautiful, vibrant town with rich culture and charm. The school's location, close to the historic downtown, made it easy to explore the town's enchanting streets after a rewarding day at the organization.
