The Experience

Our small team is looking for some volunteers to join us and help out around the hostel, support us in reception, welcome guests to the hostel, keep the common areas tidy, give tour advice and help with bookings. Looking for someone with positive energy, respect for our space & team, and excitement for life! Talking with guests is a huge part of the job, so you need to be friendly, motivated, inspired and interested in learning!

Immediately after arriving I was welcomed as a part of the community. Allie and Danielle are great. They respect your time, ensure a safe positive experience, and are genuinely just such fun people to be around. The locals who work there as well! There's warm water, nice rooms, a cute lounge area. It's such a cozy space. The work in the sandwich shop was fairly simple. Theres plenty of training and clear expectations set. The area around here is so beautiful. The towns situated between all the best activities. Overall, this place became a second home to me :) would definitely recommend.

This was my first volunteer experience under WorldPackers and I honestly hit the jackpot. Everyone was welcoming and understanding! I volunteered in the sandwich shop and it was calm and easy recipes to learn. When the schedule was put out, they give you majority of your hours upfront so you can have multiple days off, which was great! I got to explore a different part of the country for couple of days! The housing is good, clean rooms and comfy beds. I slept like a baby almost every night. The morning breakfast is also good. 10/10 would recommend.
