The Experience

Join our small team and support us in hostel reception - welcome guests to the hostel, keep common areas tidy, give tour advice and help with bookings! We look for someone who has positive energy, respect for our space & team, and excitement for life! Talking with guests is the bulk of the job, so you need to be friendly and interested in learning. The gig is generally pretty chill, so travelers are welcome to work on their own stuff on-shift.

I had an amazing experience atthethethe hostel! It was great to get to know the other workers and volunteer. The place was clean and had a good atmosphere. The working hours were agreed days before but the hosts were flexible and I was able to change my shift to match my free days with the other volunteer! The work was fun and relaxed. It was at a great location in the hosteland I was able to go to different tours nearby and La Fortuna, which was a big plus!

What an incredible first Worldpackers's experience! I absolutely loved my time at the hosteland I'm super sad to leave! The staff are so welcoming and friendly, the staff dorm is super cosy and homely & I was lucky enough to meet a friend for life as well :) The tasks were simple and agreed to, I was also allowed to work on my own projects during down time which was definitely a plus! Overall I would definitely recommend this experience, the hostelis beautiful❤️

My time at the hostelhas truly exceeded my expectations in every way possible. I've made friends here that will be a part of my life for decades to come.
