The Experience

We're always looking for enthusiastic and responsible staff who enjoy the international atmosphere of a hostel and want an authentic experience of Uruguay and South America. Working at Montevideo Chic is a rewarding experience, and will almost feel like family. But it's also real work, you will have to put in the hours and the effort. You will take care of Reception, Cleaning, and ensuring guests are attended and follow house rules.

Disfruté mucho mi experiencia en el hostel!! Ciudad vieja es un sitio lleno de vida diurna y precioso para conocer y pasear por la rambla! Las tareas son muy sencillas, poder conocer a gente voluntaria y huéspedes de otros países hace que la experiencia sea mucho más enriquecedora asique no dejes de aprovecharla!! Volvería sin duda:)

No lo recomiendo como un lugar para ir a hacer un voluntariado, la única persona que me ayudó fue otro voluntario que ya estaba allí, el anfitrión no estaba y el encargado no tenía mucho interés en participar, la falta de higiene del lugar hace que sea una experiencia fea.

Desde mi experiencia el Hostel está descuidado, las fotos que tienen son viejas y aparenta ser mejor de lo que es. La localidad donde se encuentra es muy mala e insegura. Las personas que trabajaban ahí son muy buenas, trabajadoras y responsables. El lugar está descuidado y tiene cosas que mejorar. Las tareas son muy tranquilas, el ambiente igual, tienes muy tiempo sin hacer nada durante tus horas de trabajo.
