Help at reception and cleaning at our Hostel in Montevideo!

The experience

We're always looking for enthusiastic and responsible staff who enjoy the international atmosphere of a hostel and want an authentic experience of Uruguay and South America.

Working at Montevideo Chic is a rewarding experience, and will almost feel like family. But it's also real work, you will have to put in the hours and the effort.

You will take care of Reception, Cleaning, and ensuring guests are attended and follow house rules.

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Requirements

Fluent Spanish and Beginner English

Between 18 and 45 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Activities & Shift

Son 5 turnos de 5 horas, 2 días libres, entre la semana puede ser turno tarde y noche 13:30 a 18:30 y noche de 18:30 a 23:00 hs, los sábado y domingo puede incluir el turno mañana, los horarios se van decidiendo según la conveniencia de los voluntarios, pudiéndose cubrir e intercambiar entre si mismos.
