This is truly an amazing place! The staff is really kind and so comitted to the welfare of the animals and it's noticeable in the whole atmosphere of the place. The hours are totally fair and were always respected. You have a lot of time you can spend with the dogs and cats socialising and getting to know them, which I loved. As well as getting a chance to meet so many great and interesting people!! I had an amazing time volunteering with ARA, I can only recommend!!

The staff were super helpful and valued our opinions, and the other volunteers were so friendly! You get a lot of time to connect with the dogs and i miss them already🐕 The hours are really fair and you still have a lot of free time in between and after shifts, as well as during days off to explore. the staff house is well equipped and cozy, the only problem was that we had bed bugs but the staff handled it accordingly and moved us out. overall i had an amazing time and would recommend to everyone!

My experience was amazing. Not only does the project and the staff incredibly help the animals, but they also create a save environment for volunteers. My experience at ARA has been amazing. I definitely recommend volunteering here, even if you have no experience with dogs or cats. Before I came to ARA I never walked or cuddled a dog before. So it was a lot of new experiences for me, but the staff members and other volunteers are very helpful and you can indicate if you don't feel comfortable with doing something. The location is beautiful and you have a lot of freetime to explore or cuddle with the dogs. A memory that I will carry in my heart forever 🩷

The experience at Ara was great. This dog shelter really cares about their dogs and cats. The staff is really doing his best to give the best conditions to the animals ; and thanks to that you can feel it, with the connection that you get with the dogs and cats, the tasks they're asking, the general atmosphere. The time I spent at ARA is simply incomparable and unforgettable. The staff make the place absolutely amazing, they care for the animals like nothing I've ever seen before and make every volunteer feel welcome and comfortable. And I will probably keep all the dogs and cats in my heart forever! I also met so many great and likeminded people with whom even bad weather was fun.
