The Experience

We run a small glamping place on 6 hect of coastal land. We need help running the place ( mainly household chores in summer and some odd DIY jobs, feeding chickens and gardening). We are off-grid so expect a simple lifestyle. However this is on a stunning piece of land directly in the coast. We share our life with 4 dogs, 5 cats and 12 chickens and a goose called Carlita. The nearest village is a 3 km hike up the hill. Beach is a 30 min. walk.

This was our first world packer experience and it absolutely exceeded our expectations! Nuno and Suze are outstanding hosts that are always attentive, helpful, and caring! The caravan we slept in was sooo cozy and cute! nearby beaches are beautiful! The farm you stay at has amazing views! work hours were very respected and the work was not at all difficult. The tree house was our favorite 🤩 so magical! Suze makes delicious quality food and we enjoyed lunch time together. The doggies, kitties, geese and chicken are so cute! An amazing unforgettable experience 100/10!

We are so happy to have been able to spend time with Suze and Nuno and live the philosophy of the camping Caiero. They always greeted us with a smile. One of our favorite times of day was lunch time with them, we loved talking to them and listening to their stories. Suze was hilarious and kind even when she was busy she always managed to prepare delicious food that we looked forward to each day. She was always helpful, giving us insight into life in Portugal. We loved listening to Nuno share the story behind the project and are grateful to him for introducing us to the philosophy of the camping Caiero.

You live in a basic caravan that provides the necessary comforts, the work is light and fair, and Suze and Nuno are great hosts: understanding, genuine and interesting. Although a professional distance is maintained, lunches were one of my favourite times because (besides the delicious food) we would share the meal while listening to them, which was a true pleasure. Located near the sea, surrounded by nature, a calm silence and very pleasant temperatures, there is little more you could ask for to be happy. In short, the camping is a simple place in the best sense of the word :)

Me& my friend had a wonderful time with Nuno&Suze (&lovely pets)! They were always kind& helpful& made us feel at home in the small caravan that we lived in. The location was fantastic, with the most amazing cliffs right at our doorstep. It was in general wonderful nature all around and Suze&Nuno always recommended us where it was best to go&what to enjoy. As for work, we cleaned their Airbnb caravans, did some weeding and other very manageable jobs! Side note: Suze is a wonderful cook and made the most delicious lunches for us all to enjoy together. Absolutely amazing experience! Obrigada! 🫶🏼

It was a truly beautiful experience. I received a very warm welcome, we had great lunches cooked by Suze and nice conversations with Nuno, and got some sweet cuddles from the animals residing there. A few hours in the morning was doable and after that we had the rest of the day to ourselves. The glamping place being located right next to the cliffs also made it to one of my favourite places in the world. Obrigada!
