Amaziiiing experience!! Living in Barcelona for one month was simply a dream It was a very intense month but probably the best ever! You never get bored for sure! If you like to socialize and make friendships this is the best place for you. The work is very diverse and the staff is super nice The volunteer room is the only thing that I would probably change because is not super comfortable, but everything else was perfect! I already want to go back and experience everything all over again See you soon the hostel❤️❤️

Incredible experience! Maybe even the best month I ever had. If you like to socialize, this is the perfect place for you. I was doing something nonstop with the other volunteers and/or the guests. If you need time for yourself and relax, you can always do that. The staff and the other volunteers were just amazing. The volunteer room is not particularly good, but besides that, everything was great. It's a party hostel, but that doesn't mean one is forced to go out. The working shifts are good and varied. If you're lucky, you have another shift every day. Thank you all for this great time!! ❤️

During my time at smart hostel I got to meet many interesting people, each with their own unique background and experience. It's definitely a great place for those who look to expand their horizons and open up to new experiences. Barcelona is a very frenetic city, with lots stimuli and occasions for everyone. The staff is friendly and the place is just right for travelers

During my stay i learned a lot, and i had a lot of fun. The best part of the stay is the people you meet. The other volunteers i met was amazing. Other than that the hostel is very social, and there is always activites to join, or work at. The shifts were fine, variting, and the hours where usually respected. If you dont feel comfortable doing something, cindy will accomadate you the best she can. I do wish that the person in charge knew more, but there were new receptionst when i started. I also got very sick during my stay wich were respected and i got to rest, cindy was very understanding

The hostel🤩🥳 I love this Hostel. I volunteered there for way longer than I was planning on because it's so awesome☀️ the hostel is big and has a bunch of cool little places you can hang out in. The receptionists rock… all of them.. so I won't list names. Cindy is such a good boss.. really understanding and kind. You won't have any problems with the job as long as you are responsable and do your tasks. It's a social hostel.. but not too much.. you can still chill if you don't want to party.🙌 thank you the hostel for becoming like a second home to me🫶

The employees of the hostel were the best part. They were kind and respectful people, I had a good time working with them. A special thank for the reception, cleaning crew and all the other volunteers. Hostel's infrastructure was good and clean. The volunteer room is ok, but a bit small for 6 people. When I arrived the room was a mess and very dirty. After some days me and the other volunteers cleaned everything what made the situation much better. The majority of the shifts are good, except the night cleaning that was too much work for just one volunteer. After all it was a good experience

The place seems nice at first but other volunteers made the vibe seem unpleasant. Lots of complaining and not a lot of good energy. And the host who is in control of picking the volunteers is a bit too friendly... of you know what I mean. For the boys, it will be a bit less uncomfortable but be aware ladies if you pick to volunteer here. He will try to kiss you and tell you unprofessional things.

This experience was amazing! It was my first experience as a volunteer in a hostel and it was better than I imagined. I met a lot people from all over the world. You have to take into account that it is a party hostel, so almost every day you go out, sometimes it can be a bit tiring but it's fun! The tasks are super varied and the staff is good! If the volunteer room could be improved a little, everything would be perfect! I recommend it if you want to meet people from all over the world and enjoy the nightlife of Barcelona.

I would absolutely recommend this experience, mostly due to the amazing people I got to meet. The hostel also has a great atmosphere and this helps keep things very relaxed. You do need to work a lot but Rebeca was incredibly helpful in organising which days you needed off. The rooms for staff could definitely do with some love. Amazing experience all the same and I'll remember it forever. Just be prepared to work!
