This was my first volunteering experience and I had such an amazing time at black swan, the stuff, other volunteers and guests are very nice and welcoming and I met many different people there. The work is easy and you have enough time to explore Barcelona. I highly recommend it🫶

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I absolutely loved my stay here. 10/10 will recommend this opportunity to anyone. The people were so friendly and welcoming along with the other volunteers. The Black Swan Hostel is extremely sociable with events every day and night, which I highly advise to participate in. I've made lifelong friends in my 4 week stay, Thank you to everyone on the staff !! Love all yall ❤️🇺🇸

The hostel's location is unbeatable, the staff are all lovely and very accommodating to shifts and days off! The hostels quite lively and is very easy to meet other travelers, join on nights out or any other outings!

This was my first worldpackers position and wow... what an awesome start! The hostel was social, friendly, staff were lovely, and the other volunteers were loads of fun! What was given in exchange for us working was definitely fair. The hostel is located in a really good spot which made exploring the city very easy (most things are within walking distance). Something to be mindful of, one of the shifts is cooking as the hostel provides free vegetarian dinners for everyone so it's definitely handy if you have an idea on how to cook! Overall, I really enjoyed my time and would 100% recommend :)

That was my first experience volunteering and I really enjoyed!!! I learned a lot in my time here, improve my english and learned a little of spanish :) We had morning shifts, cooking shifts (keep that in mind if you come here), cleaning shifts and other activities. The volunteers were all amazing, we went out together all time, to parties, parks, museums and I really love meeting them all and knowing about the diferent cultures, it was like a family!!! Also all the recepcionists were super nice and helped me every time I needed. I met some incredible that I will never forget!!! <3

I had a really good time at the hostel! I was really immersed in the Spanish culture, especially among the staff, and due to this acquired a lot of language skills ;) The hostel is located in a beautiful part of town and within walking distance of most sights and both the staff and the volunteers made me feel right at home. Would definitely recommend!

I had an amazing experience volunteering at this hostel! The management and reception staff were so welcoming and friendly which I really appreciated! The hostel is also in the best location and is very clean. I made such great friends with the volunteers and guests throughout my stay and would definitely recommend this experience to anyone!

I had my first volunteer stay at the Black Swan Hostel and it was great. I received a very warm welcome from Santiago and Lukas and all the other employees were also very nice. The hostel is nice and modern, the working hours are variable and the other volunteers welcomed me really well. The best thing was that after a short time we were able to da lot of free time activities such as playing football with the permanent receptionists, especially Naza and Nico. I'd love to come back. My stay at the Black Swan Hostel was not only enriching in developing communication skills but also gave me the opportunity to get to know so many wonderful people, which I enjoyed to the fullest. Special thank you to my roomies, who welcomed me so warmly, you are the best!! My only criticism is about the volunteer's room, which is simply too small for six people to live in and a little run down. Nevertheless I had a crazy good time at the hostel with the simple work that had to be done as well as many many impressions to remember, thank you very much!! :)

Incredible experience! I felt at home since the very beginning (the best welcoming I've ever had, it was super easy to connect with everyone)! The work is super chill, fun and you have time to talk to with guests and make friends from all over the world! The location is amazing and the activities are really fun! Such a good energy 🥹🫶✨ I highly recommend it! ❤️
