I have had such a good experience with Nathalie and her family. It is a nice and warm family. Working was fun and I learned a lot about working in the kitchen and keeping the bees. I worked together with Katy and Nathalie in the kitchen. They are both very nice and willing to help with anything. The working hours were a bit different, because of a big event. But this was as agreed between me and Nathalie. Around the house is not much to do because there is no city around the corner. If you are okay with having some time to yourself and reading a good book, you will be fine!

The stay was a great escape from city hustle and bustle. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a slow paced country get-away who would be interested in learning more about bee keeping and gardening. It was pretty awesome being able to see the entire process of how the honey is harvested and extracted ready to eat! The facilities were great, exactly as expected though maybe bring a deck of cards or a boardgame for those days off as while the nearest town is lovely, its rather small and you'll need a car or bike if you wish to explore further away towns or try other activities.

Our stay with Nathalie was very pleasant! We learnt a lot about beekeeping and the process of producing honey. The hours were longer than expected (approx 35hrs), but the work was as advertised and we learnt a lot. Unfortunately, the bikes were out of order during our stay so on days off we weren't able to go very far, but when the weathers nice you can go swimming in the river nearby or hang around outside. Otherwise if you were wanting to go explore nearby towns it would be better to had a car.
