My experience the eco village was very good. The work involved 3 to 4 hours of remodeling some rooms and a bit of cleaning, organizing books, and other tasks since it's an old house. It was rewarding to see the change we made after a week of work, thanks to everyone's effort. I highly recommend visiting the eco village because it's a very beautiful town, the locals are very friendly, and it's quite peaceful if you're looking for some tranquility. A special shout-out to Francesco, my host, and to Fer and Ana, who were my volunteer companions these days.

I had a great time the eco village volunteering for Francesco at the palazzo - the eco village is one of the most beautiful places I've been too and was able to explore the area. Usually starting work at 3pm finishing at 6pm it was nice to go for a cycle/run/hike in the morning then go to one of the cafes before work and then eat well and have some wine/beer/gelato in the evening! The town is small but has a community feel and a few events always seem to be on, I was able to take part in a football tournament and go to pizza/gelato party. If you're open minded and looking to immerse yourself you'll have fun

The work is hard but only short and sharp. Francesco is generous with giving days off. Monaro is a beautiful town and the local people are very friendly and welcoming. There's plenty to explore in the town and surrounding area, as well as nearby coastal towns which are potentially accessible during days off. Thank you very much Francesco, we thoroughly enjoyed contributing to your project and wish you all the best with it moving forward!

The eco village is such a special quiet town. Beautiful and surrounded by mountains, I woke up every day with a sense of awe. The town is quite sleepy (not a ton to do in terms of tourism without a car/motorbike), but its energy promotes a relaxed and peaceful lifestyle of going to the cafe and walking around town or by the river. The work can be hard (lots of lifting/assembling furniture and cleaning) but you only need to do it for 3hrs/day so it's balanced. Francesco is very knowledgeable person, though you mostly only see him during work hours (you live in separate houses).

The eco village was a wonderful experience. The life in this beautiful village is peaceful and a true taste of Italian culture. The work varies a lot, but the main objective, during my stay, was the renovation of the big palazzoto where you will live, which gives real value to the time spent working. Keep in my mind that getting to the village can be tricky if you're not prepared ( knowing which buses to take) and hitchhiking has been a useful tool in some cases. Nevertheless, you will enjoy the beauty of this part of Italy, whether it's exploring other towns or chilling with the best views.

Staying the eco village was a unique experience. There was a big variety of tasks so the work never got boring :) The work hours allowed me to have a lot of time for exploring the town, going on hikes and taking daytrips. Meeting the other volunteers was really fun and it was a pleasure to spend time with them! Thank you Francesco for such an unforgettable opportunity !

I had a great time the eco village! The work was very manageable and I had plenty of time to explore the beautiful town. The work was usually either at the host's olive farm or in the house he owns where we were cleaning and repairing it to get it ready for guests. In my free time I had so much fun with the other volunteers and was able to go on hikes, visit cafes and restaurants, and even took a day trip to the sea. Thank you for a great stay, Francesco!

My experience in Mora no the eco village was simply amazing. Francesco is a wonderful host, always cheerful. The village is charming, and during my stay, I had the opportunity to visit nearby villages and watch the famous Tarantella of Cosenza. The other Worldpackers volunteers were also fantastic and helped me greatly improve my communication skills. Although the work was heavy, it was only a few hours a day, allowing me to balance it with another job or enjoy the mornings for sightseeing

Francesco is a friendly person who provides clear instructions and the job is challenging, but worthy. Other volunteers I met were nice and friendly as weel. I really had a good time with them. In addition, people the eco village are kind and generous. I felt comfortable in both the residence and the town... as I were native.
