This was my first volunteering experience and I would definitely recommend it. I got to know a beautiful and fun city, whilst I met really nice people, I had a really nice manager and co-volunteers, both with a great sense of humor. The working hours are respected, some days you might work and extra half-hour but some other days you finish half and hour earlier. As for the facilities, the common areas and kitchen are really great, the only thing I would improve is the staff room, particularly, the lighting. Overall, great experience, I totally recommend it.

Staying and working at the hostel was a nice experience. The staff, colleagues and working environment were amazing. The city is so beautiful and the Hostel very good located. I recomend it and would come back soon. Greetings!

This was my first experience with volunteering and it was great! The structure of the hostel is good — considering that it is an adaptation of a church. My only observation is about the volunteer/staff room: I believe it could be improved a little… And if you're an allergic person, you might need to clean your room quite often. The manager, Tas, is very kind in fetching food for all the staff during the week… guaranteeing everyone free food. I have so much more to say (and thank you for) but not enough space. I'll be happy to respond to anyone who wants to talk. Thank you the hostel!

The hostel is amazing and Edinburgh is a beautiful city However the volunteering was awful, the worst experience I've ever had, the staff complained for everything and were not good at sharing simple things like the room. The manager made fake statements, that I misused the rooms, and that I didn't do my work. They are very demanding and forget this is not a job is volunteering My advice is: always call the place because they can give fake information through the app

Experiência muito válida , as tarefas são simples e levam poucas horas o que nos dá muito tempo livre pra aproveitar a cidade. O hostel é próximo a muitos pontos turísticos e possui pontos de ônibus, mercados e farmácias próximas. Aqui consegui me conectar com muitas pessoas legais e treinar meu inglês. Agradeço a toda equipe do hostel pela recepção e pela bela experiência.

Tuve una muy buena experiencia en este hostel, además de estar muy bien equipado, las personas con las que compartí me agradaron. No tengo muy buen inglés, lo cual me dificultó un poco más poderme comunicar y socializar un poco más, pero siento que el haber estado allí me ayudó a mejorar la escucha y a soltarme para expresarme un poco más en inglés

Foi ótimo estar em Edimburgo, a cidade é maravilhosa, tem sempre algo pra se fazer e lugares pra conhecer. A localização do hostel é boa pra quem não quer ficar tão perto do agito do centro da cidade, mas ainda assim é possível fazer tudo a pé. Por já ter sido uma igreja eu esperava ver mais dessa atmosfera por dentro, valorizando os vitrais e a arquitetura que vemos de fora, mas por dentro ele é mais descontraído. As tarefas que fiz foram bem tranquilas, limpeza e camas, trabalho feito em equipe, e eu tive sorte de estar com outros incríveis voluntários que vou levar pra vida. Recomendo!

Foi minha primeira experiência como Worldpackers e no geral gostei bastante! O trabalho é tranquilo e nunca passamos das 3h diárias de tarefas, o que é ótimo! A equipe de voluntários e funcionários com a qual convivi foi bem receptiva e nos divertimos bastante! O quarto dos voluntários poderia melhorar bastante pois é apertado e falta iluminação. Mas nota-se que eles estão reestruturando o hostel como um todo.
