The Experience

We offer the best hostel accommodation in the city with 128 beds and a world-renowned Roofdeck Bar offering a great view of the Manila skyline. Our place has a resto/cafe. If you are backpacking in the Philippines or interested to meet fun and like-minded individuals then Z Hostel is the place for you! We provide a safe and fun place to stay with comfortable accommodation. We are located in the hip and multi cultural area of Poblacion.

Volunteering at the hostel in Manila for the second time has been just as rewarding, if not more than my first experience. Coming back felt like returning home. Even though I noticed a few changes since my last stay, the energy, warmth, and friendly atmosphere that make this place special are still very much alive and full of opportunities to meet people from all over the world and the environment makes it easy to connect and create unforgettable memories. My volunteer experience at the hostel was honestly such a great chapter. From the start, the vibe was warm and welcoming, and the team made it easy to feel comfortable and included. The work never felt heavy, and the days went by fast because there was always something happening. What really makes the hostel special are the people, staff, volunteers, and travelers from everywhere. This was by far one of the most life changing decisions i have ever made, every little thing from the staff, location, work, and the al around experience of my stay was truly one I will cherish forever and look back upon with nothing but the happiest memories. The staff and other volunteers are people i would be more than happy to call my family as thats how it felt. 11/10 Lots of love, cant wait to come back, miss you all heaps, Zekey ❤️ P.s theres still some icecream in the freezer ;)

First of all this is not my first time volunteering with the hostel! This place feels like home to me the company, staff, and people I met here is just truly amazing. I will always recommend this place because I learned so much things literally to be all around and be flexible which is very cool that they are very open with us learning new things.
