I had an amazing experience working at the hostel! Gwen and all of the staff were super nice and fun, and the work was very laid back. I'd recommend for anyone looking to meet other travelers and have a base to explore Manila!

I had a really good time there, the staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome and comfortable. It was my first time traveling alone and staying in a hostel. The hostel was a good experience for me as I met a lot of people and became friends with them and got to know everyone's background and stories. Working as a volunteer gave me a good experience too. I was able to build my confidence and keep busy. The hostel also has fun activities such as parties, this brings everyone together and have fun. Would recommend to everyone ! :)

This is the best experience I ever had. I came to volunteer for 4 weeks, and I asked if could stay a few more. All the staff at the hostel are amazing, from management to the other volunteers. The job it's most of the time socialising with other guests, that's what I was looking for. They offer 3 meals a day, which is really good. The hostel is in one of the busiest area, and there a lot of people (locals and foreigners) coming to enjoy the view from the sundeck on the top floor. I would 100% recommend this hostel for volunteering. I hope I can come back soon again. Thank you the hostel!! :)

It's a very nice and social place. You are welcomed with open arms. It's perfect for people who love to meet people and party a lot and I would always recommend it if you want to stay in Manila. You need to be aware that boys and girls share one room but it's very chill.

The hostel truly felt like home to me. I'll definitely be coming back. If you're into nightlife, meeting new people, and joining fun cultural activities, this is the perfect place. The staff and volunteers are incredibly warm, friendly, and always ready to help. Just a little heads-up: if you're not super social or outgoing, it might not be your vibe—this place thrives on energy, connection, and big personalities. Big shoutout to the amazing volunteers I had the pleasure of working with Gwen, Andrie, and Antonio. You all made my days lighter, happier, and so much more memorable.

I miss the Hostel already :( It was a new experience to me to work in a hostel and I enjoyed every bit of it. You will meet a lot of people from all over the world on a daily basis. The meals provided were great, especially the breakfast. The volunteer room is clean and has AC. I hope to go back to the hostel next year. Thank you so much Gwen, Andrei, Juju! :)

If you've never volunteered for a hostel before, the hostel is a great place to stay. Shifts are very straight forward and not at all labour intensive, basically you just have to hang out and talk to guests. Manila night life is a lot of fun and you learn quickly where to take guests out to drink since the hostel itself only organizes events within their premises. Oh and Gwen is a lovely person to work with, don't think I ever saw her in a bad mood once (she also makes great drinks behind the bar)

I had a super fun time at the hostel. The other volunteers were so much fun to be around and I really cherished every moment there. The job is super fun and you are primarily asked to be social. This includes going on walking tours, hosting karaoke, hosting beer pong and promoting the DJs on the weekends. I met so many fun local and international people. I had a great experience and would recommend to anyone who is interested in living in Manila and experiencing what it is like to live and work in a hostel environment.

The hostel was by far the best option to enjoy Manila and also Filipino Culture. The tasks are different and its a really sociable place where you meet different people everyday, make some awesome friendships and memories to remember. Gwen is really lovely as well as the staff and other volunteers who all made the experience really valuable. The breakfast, lunch and dinner and drinks provided were also really delicious and a perfect way to get introduced to Filipino gastronomy. The nightlife in Manila is to have a blast and in your free days you can visit the islands or walk around the city,
