The Experience

For our ecofarm we are looking for a real handyman or -woman who can help with repairs and maintenance around the house, the stable and the vegetable garden. We are looking for someone who can works independently and enjoys walking around with a toolbox, drill and brush. Seniors are very welcome. Come and visit the beaches and villages around Monchique en join us to gatherings in our lovely mountain community.

I had a wonderful time at Miranka's ecofarm, it was truly an amazing experience. The daily routine of caring for the animals, gardening, and helping in the kitchen was enjoyable and gave me a real connection to nature. The terrain and surroundings are beautiful, and it felt great to live so close to them. Miranka is a welcoming and interactive host, always helpful and easy to talk to. We even shared movie nights, which made the stay feel homely. Overall, it was meaningful, refreshing, and a memorable experience I'm very grateful for.

My stay at the project was a beautiful experience. The animals were all lovely to me, the nature surronding the place is calming and relaxing and Miranka is a wonderful host. She made sure I was always okay and looked after me in every moment. The food we ate was almost interely composed by the products of the garden and by the milk and eggs from the farm, giving a unique culinary experience. I had a lot of free time to focus on myself but Miranka was always happy to have some deep conversations about life or watch a movie together. I will remember this experience forever!

My experience was wonderful. The space is really charming, with a lot of peace. The sleeping space is super comfortable and the animals are very beautiful. Vincent and Miranka are always willing to help and you have all the support you need. It was a great experience to improve my English and learn new skills. I'm very grateful to have been there.
