The Experience

Hi, We have quite a large garden and it needs a lot of work! we need some hedges cut down - working at height, heavy lifting, cutting logs and mulching of cut materials. Must be able to work safely unsupervised and also to work in all weather - it is Ireland. Must be physically able to do manual work unsupervised Plenty of space to unwind and relax. In return will provide accommodation and self service breakfast.

Stuart was a fantastic host in every way possible! He was so kind, friendly and welcoming and took time to show me the local neighbourhood and sites. My volunteering was helping out in his beautiful garden each day. I highly recommend this volunteering opportunity to anyone visiting Ireland and county Kerry!

I want to sincerely thank Stu and Will, as they were always very kind and nice to me, and welcomed me so warmly! I had the chance to meet several of their friends and I will fondly remember the moments we spent together. I also got to learn more about gardening and painting while helping them, and taking care of the chickens was especially enjoyable. The place where I stayed is super cozy. We also visited some nearby towns, and the scenery is absolutely stunning. I wish you both lots of success!

The owners are relaxed and treat you like a friend. They are flexible, they give you the option to make your routine or make plans with them. I arrive when they were in time to be in the house so we share many moments together. I really enjoyed work in the garden, and the company of the haha. They are very close to the town tralee, and also they recommend places to go. Thank you very much by the lovely moments together and share your life with a visitor!
