The experience

Hi, We have quite a large garden and it needs a lot of work! we need some hedges cut down - working at height, heavy lifting, cutting logs and mulching of cut materials. Must be able to work safely unsupervised and also to work in all weather - it is Ireland. Must be physically able to do manual work unsupervised
Plenty of space to unwind and relax. In return will provide accommodation and self service breakfast.

What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 45 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Activities & Shift

Hedge cutting, Tree lopping, working at height, Lifting, Mulching of waste material, Digging, Painting and Decorating to a high standard.
Hours are flexible, you can work around any sightseeing you may want to do

Rules

No smoking indoors
No parties - this is a quiet rural area
Would ideally suit people with transport but 2 bikes are available to get into town etc
