The Experience

Searching for a teacher for two boys, ages 4 and 6. We would like you to stay 10weeks in the beginning, to ensure you and the boys enjoy this arrangement. If this position is a good fit, we ask you to stay a minimum of 9months. It will take the boys time to get comfortable with you and their new routine, and they will form an emotional attachment to you. Anything less than nine months will not be enough time, as they need a stable environment.

The lodge is a little paradise in the jungle :) I feltl immediately comfortable, after 2 days I had the feeling it was already weeks I was there :p The work is pretty simple and chill, you quickly get what's need to be done and the rest is just fun and human contact :) Family vibe ++++, that's one the best thing about this place ! You can really feel like home away from home with the other volunteers, the managers (except for Jack ! 😉 Haha kidding ! Best volunteer manager with Josie !) and of course Pia and Raquel ❤️ Thank you for everything guys !!!

The manager showed me around when I arrived because the host was away for business. However, when the host arrived the following week, she was warm and friendly; I was pleased I chose the lodge. The views were spectacular, and the other volunteers had very similar personalities, so it was easy to get along with everyone. The location is very safe, and the locals are kind and welcoming. It is a great place to be.

The lodge was an amazing experience for me! Everything about the place is incredible, the location, food, people and more. The job is simple, basic bar and serving plus reception for a small hotel/hostel kind of vibe. Great hours and great guests means it doesn't feel like work at all. Just living in the jungle with fun and productive days. If that sounds good to you I highly recommend you checking it out. I know I definitely plan on coming back myself!

I had an amazing time at the lodge, the hotel is surrounded by nature and has amazing views of the landscape. The work was fair and balanced and the other volunteers really made the experience! Can't wait to return again and help out the team at the lodge ♥️

We enjoyed having Lucy here in the team. Even if it was just for a short stay the adapted quickly to the team and the tasks.
We wish her all the best for her travel and hope to see her again here.

If you're craving a genuine escape into nature, surrounded by wonderful people, then this place is an absolute must-visit! The work itself is easygoing, and Pia and everyone else are very fun to work with. I'm already feeling a twinge of nostalgia for this place, and you can bet I'll be back. It's more than just a jungle hotel; it's a place that's etched its way into my heart:)
