The Experience

Somos un proyecto de un matrimonio chileno/alemán. En nuestro afterschool se enseña inglés a niños y niñas entre 3 y 14 años. Los grupos asisten una a dos veces por semana con el objetivo de practicar inglés. Estamos buscando apoyo en la sala para hablar con los niños en inglés entregando instrucciones, estimulando su aprendizaje.

My stay in Coyhaique with Tina and her family was a special way for me to learn about Chilean culture and Patagonia as a region. Tina, her family and friends were very hospitable and made sure my stay was comfortable as much as possible. The interactions with her students were absolutely heartwarming that I'm already missing them all so much.

Esta experiencia ha superado mis expectativas y el trabajo con los niños siempre ha sido lindo intentando que aprendan a través de juegos, canciones, actividades, etc. Tina es una mujer muy buena que ha creado un hermoso proyecto y su dedicación y compromiso con la educación de los niños es algo admirable. Desde el primer día tanto Tina como su esposo e hija me han hecho sentir parte de la familia, hoy (después de 3 meses viviendo con ellos) puedo decir que encontré una segunda familia lejos de casa. También hemos decidido extender el tiempo de mi estadía. Gracias Tina y familia.
