It was the first hostel volunteering for me and I truely enjoyed it a lot. The hostel is a very beautiful and chill place. I learned there a lot about how to manage a hostel and about all the tasks that have to be done. I enjoyed helping with media stuff, taking pictures for the booking sites as well as all the great conversations! Since it's just 4 hours per day, we still had enough time to explore the island. Because I enjoyed the whole experience, I can recommend volunteering at the hostel to everyone!

I loved it, and I would most definitely recommend this place to anybody, it felt like a home, and I almost didn't want to leave.

Our stay at the hostel was our first one with worldpackers and we could not have asked for a better experience! The common area is amazing and we felt super comfortable. Every day you work 4 hours and you get your schedule way in advance which makes it easy to plan. The work that needs to be done is housekeeping, cleaning common areas, check-ins and check-outs. Abu always made sure that we feel appreciated and we had a lot of interesting conversations. I can highly recommend the experience! Thank you for everything Abu and Syed

The hostel is on my top 3 hosts that I most felt at home! The hostel is small so feeling confortble and interating with travellers is easy going! AC 24h is the highlights of the hostel's structure, which is really well planed and decorated! The staff room is okay. About the work exchange: fair and respected 4h/day, cleaning, housekeeping and reception. Abu the manager is sweet and thoughtfull, he showed around the island to all the volunteers, explain about the cultural and historical aspects of Malaysia, cooked for us, gave us tips about where to go and what to do. What a host, what a home!

This experience has a great location near the beach with amazing food market every night outside the dormitory . It's honestly a hidden paradise. Please enjoy your time there with the volunteers and the Abu and his familY and Syed. They are great people willing to help you with your next trip or Langkawi tips.

This experience is great! The work is very easy, and the management is very chill. They let you feel like you're apart of the management team, and you can learn a lot about reception and the hostel business. The shifts are 4 hours, but it doesn't feel that long bc you definitely are not working throughout your whole shift (once the work is done, you just wait for guests and can do whatever). The place is very comfortable and welcoming, and the location is soooo perfect (so close to cheap food, alcohol, and the beach)! I had a very relaxed time there, and I wish I could've stayed longer!

The hostel is amazing, it is a minute away from the beach and close to everything. The dorms are good, the common area is very inviting and the kitchen is great too. I had an amazing time with the other volunteers, and with the guests. The host Seyd always gives good energy and I am glad I got to work with him. I would recommend the experience to anyone.

I had a lovely time at the hostel, a nice little break from moving all the time while being able to spend a lot of quality time with the manager Saed who I will definitely miss. The work was really chill, one or two hours tops, and I could spend the rest of the day exploring the island, meeting people from the hostel or just relax and enjoy the beautiful hostel. I would definitely recommend this volunteering especially if you're looking to slow down for a little while, while still meeting some people and having the chance to get to know Saed , who will certainly share everything he knows
