I had a really good experience at the hostel. It's a really peaceful and calm place. You can do Yoga in the morning and spent a lot of time at the beach close by. The work is doable. Thanks to a plan you know what to do and the shifts are scheduled for the whole months, which makes it more easily to plan. You can also change with other volunteers. The beds are a bit loud whenever you move this is a bit annoying. But the common area is really chill good place to work, read, watch a movie and the outside kitchen is also very sweet.

I was there for a month, and it was really great, it was the rainy season but it helped me to rest. It's a very chill hostel,The tasks are very easy and everything is well explained so you don't get lost. I really have a great time, Juan is a very nice person, calm and has very good musical taste. The beach is super close, and there are plenty of places to explore. Totally recommendable

It was a great experience! Juan and the other volunteers were really nice. The place is very cozy and it's near to the beach, some restaurants and food street. The tasks were pretty easy to do, nothing complicated. I'd definitely recommend it if you want to spend time in the island and looking for a chilling hostel.

We had an amazing first experience at the hostel! The job is super chill. We met incredible people, both staff and travellers. We could enjoy the beach as well as the hostel's faculties on the daily. We 100% recommend!

I really loved my time in the hostel. The hostel is very comfy and beautiful and is just a few steps away from the main beach. You only work 4 hours per day so that gives you plenty of time to explore around or do whatever you want, to be honest if you look into it, there is a lot to do in Langkawi. The hostel is run by volunteers only but the whole system they create to train us is very easy and helpful. They are also very flexible with the roster so if you have any especial request on a specific shift they will happily change it. There was 4 more volunteers at the same time as me which I loved.

I had a great time at the hostel, I was able to meet and socialize with fellow volunteers and guests from around the globe. Our host tries to make us more welcome by preparing delicious Malaysian food and having gatherings like these gave us an opportunity to learn more about the Island of Langkawi. The 4hr shift went by fast and still gives you so much time to explore the island or just relax in the cozyness of the spacious air-conditioned area as Langkawi is humid and HOT! Cleaning for volunteers was illustrated on simple videos to follow! The 4 h

My time here was great. The tasks are easy and don't normally require the 4 hours of the shift, so you have plenty of time to enjoy the beach or explore the island. Keep in mind, though, that there is only one employee besides the manager, so the hostel is run by the volunteers. It is not a big problem since the hostel is small, but it led to some communication problems since the "older volunteers" were training the new ones, which is hardly ideal. Proper training was the one thing lacking here.

I would definitely recommend. The hostel is really chill and you don't have to work too much. You will be informed about your shifts right away so you can make plans. Other than Seyd and Ammar, who are both really nice, because they help you with everything and also give you information about the island!! There are only working volunteers. I really liked my 2 weeks at the hostel but the next thing to upgrade in the hostel should be the volunteer beds 😉 Enjoy your stay!

I had a really nice time volunteering at the hostel. I was made to feel really welcome by all the volunteers and it was great to work with them all. The shifts are quite simple, as I was only there for a week I was mostly put on the morning shifts so I had time to explore Langkawi. The hostel itself is very relaxed and has a nice 'homey' vibe to it, and it was the perfect place to settle in for a short time.
