My time at the farm was wonderful! I stayed for 6 weeks and they flew by! The area around the farm is amazing, the working hours are flexible, the work is fun and Hege & Daniel are great hosts. I already miss being at the farm, spending time with the other volunteers, the animals and ofcourse Hege and Daniel! 10/10 experience I will never forget.

I've spent 3 weeks at the farm, and can honestly say it's been better than I could have ever imagined . Hege is so warm and welcoming, and she really makes the experience feel like a home away from home. The days we work are very flexible, we are able to pick what work suits us the best and be independent with it. I will really miss the alpacas, rabbits and chickens, but especially Tussie the cat (who is the boss of the volunteer house). The adventures we went on with Hege's father were also an amazing way to experience the area. Thank you so much for having me, I hope to return soon xx

We only stayed here for 2 and a half weeks, but really wish we could have stayed more!! The hours of work are very flexible, Hege and her husband are amazing and super helpful and understanding. We also loved going on little trips with Hege's dad, John. :) We learned a lot about respecting nature and animals and really immersed into the Norwegian culture. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone!

This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have wished for anything better 🥲. I felt very welcomed and the place started to feel like home after just a few nights. I felt super relaxed during the whole stay. The work tasks were easy and nice and there was always a lot of time to relax afterwards. The surroundings are gorgeous and there is a lot to explore! 💗 I'm so grateful for this experience.

My experience at the farm was nothing but perfect. Hege is so lovely and does anything she can to make you feel comfortable and have a nice time. The work is enjoyable and varies each day so you will always have fun ! The house was amazing and I got to meet the best people🥰 the animals are so lovely and your surroundings are incredible, there was plenty to do on your days off. Thanks to heges father John for all the amazing trips he took us on, im so grateful for this experience and I would love to go back🤍send Tussi all my love :,)

My time at the farm was amazing! Hege was such a knowledgeable host, who taught us everything there is to know about the animals. The work was super flexible and it was good to learn how to use new equipment and new skills. The other volunteers I was with really made the stay more special, we didn't stop laughing. Hedge's father also made the trip so memorable, he spent many hours showing us the native land, animals and marine life and made the trip truly amazing. But if your a animal lover this is definitely the place for you! Gonna miss willow and Evan

I had an incredible experience volunteering at Hege's alpaca farm. Hege was incredibly sweet and very flexible with the work. The other volunteers were so nice, we did a lot of activities together, i really had the best time<3. Special thanks to John for making outdoor activities a memorable part of the volunteering adventure. Highly recommend this unique and fulfilling opportunity!

The other reviews already say it all! My first experience there was more than perfect. Hege and her family are adorable, she's attentive and makes sure everything goes well. Each day the tasks are changing, without any dull moments. We're working outdoors all day in such beautiful surroundings, and have fun with others volunteers from all over the world. This opportunity is a dream realized. I highly recommend it🫶 Kisses to Tussi the cat who accompanies us everywhere😼

My time at Opplev the farm was absolutely amazing! Hege loves getting to know all the volunteers and learning about us, and she really wanted us to have a positive experience. Contributing on the farm is extremely fulfilling, and you form close bonds with the other volunteers sharing so much time together. I 100% recommend this experience if you want to experience a hands-on way of life and a strong connection to the area.

We couldn't have wished for a better first volunteering experience, Hege and his family were adorable with us and his family, the place is just incredible. The tasks on the farm varied quite a lot, so there was never a dull moment. Thank you again Hege for your kindness!
