The Experience

We’re on the lookout for some helping hands to jump into a variety of tasks—everything from grass cutting and wood splitting to painting, cleaning, and whatever else the season brings. This summer, we’ve got big plans: clearing out an old chairlift station to transform it into a snow CAT garage, prepping a hotel for opening, and helping organize a fun-filled summer camp for kids. There’s always something happening, and we’ll do our best to matc

The home ski resort is an absolute blast. The team there is fantastic, filled with so many awesome people who make you feel at home right away. Accomodations are comfortable and the work is super engaging and gets you acquainted with the home and the environment really well. I came here from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and it was the perfect retreat. the home is a beautiful little town and just the view from the home alone makes coming here worth it! Would highly recommend. Huge thanks to Ceasar, Dan, John, and everyone else that let me have such a great stay here!

Worked here for a month over the end of summer and for my first WorldPackers it was overall pretty fun. The work is mainly landscaping, cutting grass and trees, but there were some other jobs too like helping setup tracks for the snow cats. Can be pretty difficult at times but enjoyed it. You are well fed through your stay here. The hosts are very friendly and generous, help with hitching a ride to Sapporo. I would say the communication of the requirements and organising the work at times could be done better and the only downside is the location is quite far from everything up in the home

I had one of the best experience of my life spending one month at the home resort. You can find here the best team work, it's insane the bond I created with people here and how they made me feel at home right away. Couldn't recommend this place more, Olivia found the perfect job for me giving me the possibility to develop my passions while working. The food was always more than enough and delicious, breathtaking landscapes and amazing people. The accommodation was comfortable and safe. I just recommend to get your international driving license since is a little far from everything.

I had an amazing time here! I had no idea what to expect because this was my first Worldpackers experience, but everything was great! When I arrived I felt welcomed right away. The staff and other volunteers are very friendly, helpful, and veryyyy funny :) It started to feel like home very quickly and I was sad to leave so I stayed an extra 3 weeks. I would definitely come back here in the winter. The work was pretty chill and enjoyable for the most part. If you go in the summer you get to help with the camp which is also fun. The ice cream was also a highlight.
