If you are considering volunteering at the hostel, do it! It was an unforgettable experience that I would recommend to anyone. The hostel has such a welcoming atmosphere and the staff made it feel like a home away from home from the first day. Working behind the bar is so fun, you get to connect with people around the world and help create the social atmosphere the hostel is known for. The balance between working and free time is great, especially because the environment is so high-energy and social that it rarely even feels like a job. Big thank you to Charlie, Alonso and the whole Tropi Team🫶🏻

The hostel Hostal was a fun and amazing expérience that I higly recommand. I want to thank the whole teams especially Alonso, Charlie, Raquel, Estuardo, Erik and Alex for their warm welcoming. The job is really easy and allows to meet people from all over the world. The 2 days off give you the opportunity to explore the surrounding area, including the Acatenango volcano. A good place to having fun and feel like home

Volunteering at the hostel was such an amazing and fun experience! From the very first day, the staff and other volunteers made it feel like a true home away from home! The work never felt like a job, it was social, enjoyable and I met so many incredible people from all over the world! Learning bartending was an extra highlight and something I really enjoyed. On working days, you get one free meal and all of them were genuinely delicious! On your 2 days off you can go volcanohiking, which is highly recommended or explore beautiful Antigua! Overall, it was a unique and unforgettable experience!
